Amidst The Hedges Inn, known for great hospitality, beautiful gardens and ideal location; one of the oldest running Inns in the Village of Clinton, New York near Hamilton College, NY. We have offered lodging for over 25 years with four English Country Suites decorated with period antiques with an exquisite unique eclectic style and original works of art. In the spring, summer and fall take in the formal garden surroundings and enjoy a glass of tea on the patio. Our bucolic side street setting allows our guests a peaceful, quiet stay.

We’re located near Hamilton College, Colgate University, and Utica College all of which have a schedule of speakers, performers, concerts and athletic events that are open to the public. The Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute is a World Class Art Museum noted for its permanent collection of 20th Century American Artists. The beautifully restored Stanley Performing Arts Center is home to the Utica Symphony and offers the Great Artist series of plays. Additional entertainment can be found at the Turning Stone Casino with world renowned golfing facilities, also nearby the Herron Creek and Sadaquada golf courses.

Deposit Policy
Deposit of 50 percent is required on all advance reservations of six nights or more. For reservations of three nights or less, the total amount is requested in advance.

Cancellation Policy
The Hedges will make every effort to provide a written reservation confirmation by e-mail and maintains a 10 day cancellation policy.
In the event of a change or cancellation, refunds will be issued for reservations if cancelled at least 21 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, less a $25 cancellation fee. In the event of a change or cancellation within 10 days of your reservation, the full amount of your stay will be charged to your bank or credit card, less any non-refundable monies mailed to the Hedges in advance.

Conveniently located within walking distance of both the Hamilton College campus and Historic Village of Clinton Green lined with various shops and restaurants. In close proximity is a local fall favorite – historic cider mill. We are also located near excellent fishing access points on the Oriskany Creek.
